View Webcasts, Podcasts using the Microsoft Desktop Player

A couple of days ago, Microsoft launched a Desktop player that allows IT Professionals and Developers to access Microsoft events, webcasts, podcasts, white papers etc both online(Silverlight based) and offline.

As shown in the screenshot above, on the right hand side there are filters to find videos, webcasts, podcasts, whitepapers and relevant links based on your search criteria. The Search brings up the results in the following format.

Shown below is the Desktop Player in Action after selecting one of the webcasts

You can also download the player directly to your desktop.
